Grandparents day

On Friday the 10th of November was grandparents day so we did church to bless them for all the nice things they have done for us. In church we did some singing,praying and receiving bread and wine and giving the new students rosary beads.

Straight away after that we showed our grandparents around our classroom and showed all the art we did and things like that. My nanny was saying nice comments about how great my art was because she is a very nice person. We also went into my sisters classrooms as well.

In the classes we had things to eat because everyone brought food so we could have a shared morning tea. My nanny said “that it was lucky she had three of us because we get to eat heaps of food”.

After that we did a concert we first had the gym people which I was in and we did roly polys and cartwheels and stuff like that but I and some others went in the little people group because they did not have enough people but it was fine with me and everyone loved it. After us was pasifika they were good too and then the lip sync group they were funny. After them was filipino they had cool dance moves and lucky last was kapa haka. I was in that too and we did a few things and they liked it.

Term 3 Highlights

                          My Term 3 Highlights are...Miss brolly's birthday because I like to see her happy when she gets her presents. I also like go 4 it because you get to play cool games and I liked doing all the art because it looks pretty. I loved when we did Te Reo because its fun to learn something you hardly know. Also I am exited because I got chosen for the class Representative.

I am a season

The colorful leaves are falling down from the trees.

It is a little bit windy on this season.

Since it is windy the people wear warm clothes.

Children come out to jump in the piles of leaves.

The leaves are in all shapes and sizes.

There are crunchy leaves all over the ground.

Days get shorter.

What Season am I?

Going To See Hiwi The Kiwi

On Monday morning we went to see Hiwi the Kiwi inside the hall everyone was so exited. He

was here to teach us about fishing and saving bird's the two bird's we mostly needed to save is the


black petrol and kiwi's. My Favorited  part was the  song called  kai moana and singing it with

the


act shins and we sung some other two song's as well but Kai moana was my Favorited of all. The


 songs had some lessons in it to teach us. The people who came to teach us was Mr and Mrs

Minstrol and they were so funny. The two lessons I learnt was always wear a life jacket on the


 boat and also make sure your parents are wearing a life jacket as well and that is a really big thing

 because you do not want to drown like the one in the story also you should

squirt the birds so they do not get the bate

 because we do not want them to get tangled in your fishing line do we. 

IT WAS A GREAT SHOW !

My holiday

I was staying at home waiting for all of my and my sisters friends. Because my mum rung their parents to see if they could come over.When they got here everyone was so exited including me of course. 

The first thing we played with was the Lego. When we tipped out the Lego everyone quickly started building things. While we were playing my mum put a movie on for us. Then everyone started laughing at my cat because he was sitting on the Lego. We all started getting Nerf gun's and shooting at each other. It was so fun! we made banana chock chip muffin's and Oreo they were delicious.

Everyone was hungry so Jasmine and I made lunch for everyone.  After everyone finished eating we packed up the Lego.

Then we played Disney infinity for awhile. But I just did drawing. My mum made popcorn for us. After a while all their parents came and we said good bye to each other. When they went we packed up the Disney infinity so it was tidy.

Highlights Of Term 2

1.I liked doing art - blending because I like what sort of color's you can put together and then the art will look very pretty.

2.Also I liked going to the show called into the woods because it was funny and creative.

3.And I like doing golden time because you can do lots of cool and fun things.

4.I especially liked doing the marimba because of the nice beautiful sounds and we learnt lots of things.

5.I liked trying to do kung-fu and I liked all the moves but we didn't get a try with the objects.

6.We also learnt a new game that is very fun called silent ball and it's fun how the game works.

7.And the gala was very fun there was heaps of fun things to do and cool things to buy. 

WALT Write a Persuasive Argument

Did you know we really need to use less water because we only have 0.6 % of clean water we can drink in the howl world.

How to use less water - we could use a bucket instead of a hose to wash our car.So there's heaps of other ways to look after water so look after water.

So we need to look after water other wise everyone on earth will die so we need to do caring because were caretakers of gods creation and water is one of the things we need to look after.

The truth is we only have eighteen lakes so look after them and please don't pollute our water so they stay clean.


Look after water and don't use to much so we all don't die.

Chloe's new house

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Chloe and she lived with her parents. It was time for them to go so Chloe got her bag for school and her parents got some paper forms they needed to hand in at the place they do there job. Her parents dropped her of to school then they went to there work.While they were away a mean guy was jealous of there house and lit it on fire but luckily a fireman lived close by and saw the fire so he quickly went and he put it out the fireman rang Chloe's parent's and told them what happened. Chloe's parents were in shock so after work and school they got Chloe and told her. They were all in tears but when they saw the new house she quickly ran in so she could explore the place and in there backyard there was a pool with a dolphin in it. So the parents came in they liked it so they keep,t the house but they thought it looked really fancy. They looked after the dolphin and lived happily ever after the end.

Playing The Marimba

Today my class went to go learn some songs to play on the Marimba. The person who was teaching us was Dr Neil. I really enjoyed the lovely sound it made but the thing that was hard was when we did the notes because I couldn't here him from all the sound. I learned how to hold the Marimba stick and to bounce it.

little red riding hood

Little Red Riding hood was a little young girl. Who had beautiful brown hair with a red hood that kept her warm in winter. She loved her family so much she helped them when she needed to. She had a very kind mother and a kind granny. Little Red Riding hood lived in a cottage in the woods. She was gentle and honest also with a kind soul but she could be easily tricked by people. She always is happy and cheerful with a cute little dress. All the time she has good manners. She is seven years old and she is so sweet.

Swimming with Hank

We started in the morning. First we got dressed into our togs after that we went in our school pool. me my class and my teacher and Hank were there. Hank was our swimming teacher helping us to learn to swim. our teacher was just watching us swim so that she knows if we are good or not.

We sat on the side of the pool. Hank said to kick our feet first. After we all jumped into the pool since it was so cold the pool was nice and warm. We all lined up there was one line on one side and some on the other.   

He said to do whatever swim we liked so we did it until we were at the other side. I did backstroke heaps of other

people were doing the same as me and some were doing there own thing.

So we moved on and now we did kicking with our chin on the water. Next we all did this going on our back and kicking our feet as well.

Me and everyone did backstroke but this was my second turn at this because I did it when we got to do whatever swim  we wanted. After that we did gliding so we had to do pushing of the wall who ever got the farest they won but they did not say the winner.

After all that swimming we got out got dressed and we all started learning again.        By Ella

 

Swimming sports

On Tuesday I went to the Aquatic center for swimming sports. I had to stay under my house tent Pompalier. My two Favourite races were fun one of them is the boat race and the noodle race. Pompalier won the noodle race.There were these races freestyle , backstroke , breaststroke , kicking with boards to.It was a hot day so we needed to have sun block so we didn't get sun burnt.I could only tuch  the bottom but just on my tip toes.Most of the races I came last but that doesn't matter.
