Grand Parents Day!

When I woke up on Friday morning I got ready for school. Then suddenly I just realised it was grandparents day, I was so excited to show my nanny and poppa all the things that we have been doing and  I also got to perform for them. (I luv my nanny and poppa), we also had a shared morning tea the food was so yummy when I got up to perform my nanny and poppa were just sitting there smiling at me, my favourite part was doing kapahaka and as you can see in the photo I went to go have a silly photo after wards. I had lots of fun. Then at the end of the day I went home to have a good night sleep because I was tied.

term 3 writing goal

update: at the end of term three I will be able to have different punctuation instead of just full stops and capital letters and I want to use  more to make it more interesting.

My writing goal by the end of term 3 is to learn meanings and spellings of words and to use them correctly in my writing.

Term 3 Reading Goal

By the end of term three I will know more vocabulary by learning new words then I could use these words in my writing.

I have been working on this for quite awhile now and I have learnt some words but it is not enough so I'm going to still do this.

My goal is to use different sentence starters in my writing.

We are writing to you because we want to say thank you for checking on us to make sure we were not scared, worried or homesick. We are glad that you said goodnight to different rooms so they felt comforted.

You are obviously a kind person #mum because you help everyone if someone gets hurt you’ll help them. Also, another example is to help get things ready like meals or events. You help us to get along and help us to be better people.

No matter what you’re a funny, friendly and patient human being. We love that you’re not at all a bossy person. We think you’re the complete opposite of mean. All of us think you’re a very great person and when we mean great, no we mean super great. Thank you for coming to camp to help look after us.

We want to make a complement  how you are beautiful inside and out, and the most resilient person.

The real reason we wrote to you was to say thank you for being there for

us, coming on camp so we could have a great time with you and being loving in the heart.

On Monday after noon  I did cross country I thought it was fun. At the start of the race I thought it was hard because it was up hill at the end I was so happy for me and other people. By the way I came fifth. I also got a little treat for doing so well and because I never stopped running.

At the start it was about Jesus Resurrecting which is when he was alive and you could feel and touch him.

Second it was about him dieing painfully and after that he came back again but you couldn't touch him because he came back down as a spirit. But you can still feel him in the heart.

My Camp Reflections

My Camp Reflections

I think camp was fun because we got to go to places we haven't gone to before. I also think it was cool to look at the cool things there. Everyone was happy and everyone had fun at all the different places. Boys and girls had fun with heaps of different things they had at the places. Us going to the sky tower.

I wonder if they had to pay for everything there or did they pay it online so it was all nice and organised for everyone. I am also wondering who payed for it if I knew I would say thank you to them. 

I saw heaps of things at camp like the sky tower,ferry boat, RangitotoIsland,animals at Hamilton zoo and lots of new things I have not seen before.

Thank you to everyone who made this camp possible because I really enjoyed. Me and my friends had lots of fun at camp so thank you teachers and other people for taking us on this amazing camp.

My Math Goals

By the end of term one I want to be able to put fractions in order to biggest to smallest and smallest to biggest.
